Standing - All by myself...

This week Sophia has really gotten excited about standing. She was crawling over me one day and paused just before she was going to hurdle over my legs when low and behold she stood - let go of me and hovered all by herself for 10 whole seconds! It was very exciting, she spent the rest of the night buzzing around. Yesterday I was getting ready to go to work when I sat on the floor with Sophia to say goodbye and she power scooted over to me, put her arms on my shoulders to pull up and gave me a huge, long, tender hug. It was so heartwarming and special - I felt her love with me all through the day. Today she made the bold venture to stand between two objects, her bead table toy and the chair and let go of one chair and float her hands over to the bead table. This little one is on her way to walking, I can't wait to see how excited she will be then!
