Crazy Pregnant Lady!!!
So, I have had my first public display of “crazy pregnant lady”. I was simply on my way home last night and needed to stop in at Walgreens to pick up some pictures I had printed. I calmly walked in the store and then a ray of light shone down from the heavens and I swear there was a tractor beam that pulled me instantly to the Valentine’s candy heart display. I spend a couple of joy filled moments deciding between the small hearts or the big hearts, when I remembered that I was indeed pregnant, so it wouldn’t be super crazy for me to grad TWO BIG bags of each size. (Like the baby really needs candy, right?) Then out came the bad side of pregnancy hormones. I was waiting at the photo counter for some sort of employee to help me. No one around – just the clerk at the front of the store that was 20 feet away – but helping no customers mind you. (I think the candy hearts really added to the drama because I was starting to drool over them – I really almost ripped them open and just started eating them right there) 5 minutes passed… I spent my time staring at the tempting candy hearts and the photo bin where I was certain I saw my packet, and still no photo counter person – so I started getting upset and looking like it. The front clerk saw my display of pouting, and so she asked someone to come to the counter over the intercom. This happened three more times. 10 minutes had passed and that was it! I slammed my new beautiful purse on the floor, walked loudly around the photo counter, knelt down to the “S” bin and rifled through the photo packets until I found “Skalsky, Emily”. Ahhh, sweet relief! So I get up to proudly walk to the front of the store when I am greeted by a not so happy front clerk. When I abruptly handed her my photos and said “this will do it, THANKS!” Alas, I gathered my things, paid for my photos and candy and left. I’m most likely not welcome at that Walgreens anymore.

Oh my gosh, that is a hilarious story!!! Thanks for the afternoon laugh and good for you - I hate when people think it's ok to ignore paying customers, especially pregnant ones!! You look beautiful with your belly bump by the way! :)
Nice job! Too bad the photo person didn't come so you could hit them with your bags of candy... tempting, right?
