33 Week Doctor Appointment

OMG – we are officially 4-7 weeks and counting folks. Whew, Sophia will be here before we know it. We had another doctor’s appointment today, and everything is going well. I was having some contractions while I was there, but they were so slight I didn’t even notice them. I need to do a better job of counting them and drinking a ton of water! If I have four in an hour I need to go lay down and drink 5 glasses of water, if they persist I’m supposed to go to the hospital. But other than that, I’m good – my vitals are good, I’m on track with my…uhem, weight gain. And my baby belly is growing like crazy – I’m measuring 34 cm now, so I’m a little ahead of schedule. Who knows, Grandma Skalsky thought I was starting to “drop” and both of our Mom’s think Sophia will be here early. The doctor thought that the baby was between 5-5.5 lbs, so that is bigger than what the books say I should be (about 4.5 lbs) and she’s been head down for about 4 weeks now! (I think she might be a little over achiever like her Mom!) She’s laying mostly on my right side facing to my left side. I feel her a lot more now, I think she’s awake more often. Although I can tell her movements are little more restricted, she’s definitely in cramped quarters. I feel rolling and shifting more so than swift kicks now. I love it all. We are blessed.
