My hope is for a safe and healthy delivery, ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes, and to look into her eyes for the very first time and know that she is our daughter and my heart will forever be outside of my body, with her. I cannot wait to have Jason know what it means to have a daughter and what an amazing bond that is. He will forever be her #1 hero. I will relish in the moment that we get to introduce her to our loving and supportive parents, knowing that their granddaughter will fill their hearts even more than they thought possible. And how proud we'll be to hand her to them, thinking "look Mom and Dad, this is our little angel, isn't she amazing?" And all of the love and support from family and friends that she'll get to feel - that warmth and comfort. What an amazing life this is and we are truly blessed.
This is my last belly picture. I am a little sad to post this because its the end of a big chapter of our lives, it is bittersweet. Feeling a life grow inside of you is the closest thing to God I can imagine, and it has been an honor to experience the miracle of life. I don't think that my belly can stretch any further and there is no more room at the Inn, so its best that by Thursday she'll be out here in our world, bundled in a little pink blanket - with many hearts and smiles pouring over her.
Much love to you all,
Emily & Jason
