2 Months Old!

Our darling daughter is 2 Months old today! I can not believe how fast the time has flown by. We are so thrilled that she is the center of our world. She has grown leaps and bounds over the last month - she is SO interested in everything around her. She is such an alert baby! When she's awake she really is content to look around at the things on the walls, her toys, her play mats and her most favorite - people. She loves "talking" to people, either by her cooing or just having us talk to her, of course we pause for her response :) She is eating well, sleeping great and really only gets upset when she's hungry or has bubbles in her belly.

Last night she slept 8 hours! From 9pm to 5am, it was phenomenal. Although I did panic when I woke up at 4am without having heard from Sophia yet, I bolted out of bed and placed my hand on her chest to make sure it was moving. And even though she was just fine, I stayed and watched her sleep for a little while, she is such a little angel.

Its really exciting, we can start to see her personality blossom. She is really content, peaceful and serene. Even when she's upset, its understandable. She loves to smile and gets really excited with her people. She is a cuddler when its quiet time, but she is a mover and a shaker too. She can not wait to get going, her legs and arms move non-stop. Paired with her curiosity, she is ready to learn about all the new things she can see in her world.
