What a wonderful sound - as I am typing this I am listening to Sophia "talk" to herself (and her butterfly mobile) in her room. She has the perfect combination of vowel sounds, ya-
ya's, a giggle that sounds like a hiccup and
jibber-jabber. Its music to my ears, I could listen to her talk all day.
This week we had fun with big bows and sat up for the first time in the Bumbo, which helps babies develop their core muscles and learn to sit up on their own. She did pretty well with it, you could tell she was excited to see the world from a different perspective.

Sophia was 11 weeks old last Friday, and how amazing it is to see her change so fast. Its all about her hands and talking. She loves to look, eat and play with her hands - they are usually in her mouth nowadays. She also has really just found her voice this week and she is really excited to hear it. She will usually start talking (preferably to the baby in the mirror) and then get excited when she hears her voice, then she'll start kicking her legs so fast and just get more and more excited. It's adorable. She is doing great and growing so fast. I can't wait to see what happens next!
