Grabby Hands!

Sophia is now purposefully grabbing at her toys! Her hands have really opened up the fast few days and it is so exciting to see how excited she gets when she sees the toy she wants and works so hard to grab it. Last night I was fixing dinner, when I heard the little song play from her bouncer hanging toys. I turned around and she had a tight grip on the ring, and an ecstatic look on her face - victory! She held on for a long time and the song kept playing over and over. I think she got frustrated that she was still holding on - she was getting upset, until she figured out how to let go too. :) So I watched her - oogling over her for learning something new, and one by one she would focus on each ring, grab for it with her shaking little arm as she learns how to aim, after a few times hitting it with her fist, she would carefully open her fingers and grab the ring. I am so proud of our little darling. Good job Sophia! I've also learned that I should wear pony tails now, as she likes grabbing hair and anything else she can get her hands on.
