15 Weeks!

Our little wonder is 15 weeks old today! How time flies! The last few weeks have been so busy, between my return to work, having the flu and Jason having strep throat it has been tricky fitting everything in. Everyone is starting to feel better, I am settling into work and most importantly – Sophia is doing great and hasn’t gotten sick! She is adjusting well to daycare and really likes her teachers, she smiles her huge gummy grin when she sees them. Seeing her smile that way makes Jason and I feel warm fuzzies about taking her to “school”.

She is such a little person now, she has her own personality – her likes and dislikes and she WILL let you know about it! She is a really happy and content baby. This morning it was adorable, she was “reading” through the coupon book we received in the mail with her Daddy, they both had the same concentrated look, with the slight squint in the brow – she was really focused on those colorful coupons! She loves to talk now – lots of vowel sounds. All of her stuffed animals teach her about the different vowel sounds and she talks back! Even more so when Jason and I are talking, she likes to chime in and contribute to the conversation. It’s so adorable, Jason and I of course pause and listen to her two-cents, and then we respond to her J We are working on rolling over and sitting up, she is still not a big fan of tummy time, but we work on that too! She kicks her legs pretty much all day long, especially when she is really excited about something or when she sees Wrigley. Those baby coos and gummy grins melt my heart! We can’t wait to see what’s next for our Sophia.
