Fun at School!

Sophia is doing so well at school – she loves seeing older babies and toddlers, her teachers say that she gets the biggest smile when other babies come up to her. She is so observant, I think seeing babies crawl and walk will help to teach her what’s next in her own development. She also loves the jumperoo and exersaucer, she is getting very strong.

So, the other day I asked who Sophia hangs out with… a BOY named Griffin! Apparently they do tummy time together. Griffin is 8 months old, can we say robbing the cradle? ;) When I told Jason this, he was immediately concerned and said he has to meet “this boy who hangs out with his daughter”. Yesterday Sophia had a diaper blow-out at daycare, we had extra clothes there but she needed a onsie as well as her pajama suit. So, guess who’s clothes she came home in? Griffin’s blue and white striped onsie! Our daughter is hanging out with boys, wearing their clothes… so begins our constant concern (forever) for our daughter and the boys she meets. (But we do love that she is socializing and playing with other kiddos, we really like the school she goes to.)

Sophia even had a craft day at school – she made a reindeer plate with her handprints for antlers, I can’t wait to see the final product. It’s very cute, I love that we’ll have those tiny handprints captured in time.
