5 Months Old!

Our little angel turned 5 months old on November 26th. I can not believe how quickly these months have flown by. She is doing so much already and getting so big! I weighed her on our at-home scale, and it looks like she's around 16 pounds! She's also getting taller by the day, she no longer needs anything underneath her when she jumps in her jumperoo (which she LOVES)! She can jump so high with that toy, she can clear 2-3 inches off the ground when she jumps.

She's really playing with all of her toys now, grabbing them, hitting them against things to see what that sounds like - but by far her favorite "toys" are her hands and feet. The fingers and constantly in the mouth and whenever she sees her feet she'll lounge at them or bring them up and grab them. The latest thing she loves to do is take her socks off :)

Sophia is doing great with eating, we are trying for two meals a day - rotating rice cereal and oatmeal. She eats almost the whole serving (1 tablespoon of cereal with 1 ounce of formula) and really gets a kick out of the spoon and moving her mouth to "chew" the food. Most of it stays in.

Yesterday her and I started laughing and couldn't stop, it was adorable. She had a mouthful of cereal, I started signing the inspector gadget theme song, and she thought that was hillarious. She started laughing, cereal went everywhere and I couldn't help myself but to laugh too. It was adorable.
