This and That

Sorry that I haven't posted in a while, I've had a nasty head cold all week! But there has been so much wonderful happening in the last week. First off, thank goodness I DO NOT have gestational diabetes! Woohoo! I'm not really excited because I can keep eating my beloved carbs (OK - maybe a little) as much as I am just happy to not have that strain on the baby and me. We finished our baby class, having learned the techniques of swaddling, bathing and all that good stuff. I loved it, it was fun learning all of that stuff with Jay. And then the icing on the cake - we had the most wonderful baby shower! It was beautiful, fun and amazing to see our loved ones all together to celebrate Sophia! Thank you to Laura, Judy, Debbie, Shirley and all who helped that made our shower so special. We felt so loved and we know that Sophia will be cherished. I will post pictures of the shower as soon as I get them. Also soon to come - posts about being 8 months pregnant! We love you all! Thanks for the beautiful shower and for those who could not make it, thank you for your loving words and your support!
