Baby Class

Last night Jason and I had our "Newborn Basics" class - where we learned the tips and tricks of parenting a newborn baby. We had fun bonding and going to the class together. It was reassuring to know that we are on the same page with our parenting philosophies - when we heard something outlandish that we totally disagreed with, we simultaneously gave each other the "oh no way!" look. Its fun to chat with other pregnant couples and see them from time to time. I think we had a great crash course in parenting and have also learned tons from our nieces thank you Alison, Brooklyn and Cate for letting us learn with you (and of course Jeremy and Nicole for showing us the tricks of the trade)! All in all, a lot of the material in class we had down - diaper changing, clothes, etc. However we did learn that Jason was much better at the diaper changing and dressing than I was. Humm, maybe he'll have to always change the diaper ;)
