Wow - its hard to believe that I've been out of high school for 10 years already! Well, its hard to believe, but at the same time some much life has happened that high school seems like a lifetime ago. Jason and I packed up the car (which took several hours, a few trips to Target and a whole SUV filled with baby stuff) and headed up to Greeley. We only left about 2 hours behind schedule, but that was because we stopped by my

work to show off Sophia to my coworkers and then there was a diaper blow-out followed by a bottle while sitting in the lobby :) So off we went! We have a great time visiting my folks and my extended side of the family stopped by to meet Sophia too! It was great to see how excited everyone was to meet her! We all had a great time. And I think I'm going to rename my Aunt Shirley the "baby whisperer" she is so great at calming her - I was definitely taking notes! (My Mom and Dad were also pros and we loved seeing them take care of our beautiful daughter)

After dinner with the family, my parents bravely babysat Sophia while Jason and I headed out to the reunion (thank you Mom and Dad!) I was super excited because 1) I can fit into regular pants again (although I will miss the wonderful elastic waistband) and 2) I haven't seen

most of these people in a long time and I was excited to catch up. We had lots of fun at the reunion - chatting with several classmates both Jason and I knew from living in Greeley, but most of all my dear friends Sarah, Karen and Daina. These ladies and I were inseparable through my junior high and high school years - like a second family. It was great to see them! We also had a picnic at the school - so we also were able to take Sophia to that part of the reunion, I was so proud of our little girl. It was a great time, and for those of you who came from Greeley know - we properly finished off the trip with a caroli from Romas, and it was delicious.
