Mirrors, Feet & Big Smiles

Sophia found her feet today! It was adorable. Her feet were swinging around vigorously (she is sooo active when we lay her down on her play mat - she is just itching to start moving) and all of the sudden she stopped and stared at her feet - with big bright eyes and with an "oooh" look on her face. She was really excited about it, so much so that she kicked again and when she stopped kicking, she was just as excited to see her feet again. She did this over and over again, too cute!

Sophia also loves playing with her mirrors - she sees her reflection in the mirror and kind of shyly smiles at herself, looks away and then looks back with an even bigger smile. Its as though she has her friend there looking back at her and she is so excited about it. We have two set up on her play mat and she just bounces, looking between the two. This is a picture of her big smile at the finale of the mirror game she plays. She is such a happy baby, it just warms my heart.
