Today was such an amazing day - it was the last day of my maternity leave that would be just us girls. Jason was at work and Sophia and I took the day to relax, cuddle as much as possible and play together (with Wrigley too of course!) We had
a great day filled with lots of tummy time, playing with the mat and mirrors, talking, dancing, sitting outside listening to the breeze in the trees and loving each other. I held her through every nap and it was amazing. I will absolutely miss days like today when I go back to work.We visited the daycare on Monday for a trial run, we couldn't have been more ple
ased with the excellent care Sophia had. It was a comforting feeling to come back to see Sophia fully engaged and playing with a toy - looking around with excitement. She was totally content and very smiley! We were so glad to see how she interacted with the caregiver, we feel confident bringing her back for the real deal.
