So much is changing – Sophia is growing so quickly we can’t hardly keep up with her! Already, 6 month clothes are almost to
o short and she is just about in the next size of diapers! She is doing very well with eating. So far we have tried sweet potatoes, avocados, rice cereal and oatmeal. She willingly eats all of them, but so far she really does well with the sweet potato and is indifferent about the avocado. For now, we have a breakfast and a dinner and after she turns 6 months we’ll be introducing a lunch as well. Next up is green beans and we’ll try bananas on Christmas morning – I’m sure that will be a big favorite of hers.
Sophia is so charismatic. She is just so observant of everything, she studies all things – from her hands and feet to Wrigley to our expressions, the list goes on and on. It was so adorable – the other morning I was feeding her and she paused to look at her hand, really enamored by it and then lifted it to show me. She had the most excited expression and it was amazing. Another time, I had just fed her and I was burping her over my shoulder – the next thing I know she is patting my back too. She loves studying her hands and feet and chewing on both. Her other favorite pastime – petting, drooling on, studying and chasing Wrigley. Ok, so we do the chasing with her “flying” through the air, but as soon as he comes into the room, she excitedly moves her legs up and down and completely lights up. He is by far her favorite friend. He’s such a good older brother, he does well with her petting him, even if she pulls out a few hairs.
