Ma-Ma-Ma-Ma!

Our sweet little Sophia has been cooing and talking up a storm lately. Mostly its been this sweet bah-bah-pah-pah whisper that she says like she is just trying it out. Sometimes she'll be saying it to herself, and really studying the way she sounds, and then she'll look up at us, realize that we are hearing it too and give us the biggest smile. Well on Tuesday, January 29, 2010 I believe Sophia said her first word! Its still a little under debate, but both Jason and I heard it several times. But the funny thing is that she only says it when she's upset! She was crying for her food, and out it came... MA-MA! And then she looked at me!! I didn't even really notice the hungry cries anymore, I was just overjoyed that our baby girl just said her first word! Since we were in awe of the moment and weren't moving fast enough to get her the food, she started yelling it over and over... Ma-Ma-Ma-MA-MA-MA. It was wonderful. We fed Sophia quickly and she was content, we were too. I love her sweet little voice, it melts my heart.
