Ladybug

Sophia's new favorite toy is her light-up ladybug. Its pretty cool - it lights up in three colors; red, green and blue, and it projects the constallations onto the ceiling! She is fasciniated by it. We'll be walking across the room and then suddenly she'll lunge for her ladybug. Mommy & Daddy have had to tighten up when holding Sophia, she is lunging a LOT lately. She really wants to get moving!

My favorite thing about the way Sophia plays with not only the ladybug, but pretty much everything is that she first raises her pointer finger and directs it to the toy, like a plane coming in for landing, very calculated. Then she'll place her whole hand on the toy and tap the hand up and down. After she does that for a few adorable moments, then she'll grab it and it enevitably will go in her mouth. She is learning and exploring all the time!
