9 Months

Sophia had her 9 month appointment last week and it went well. She is doing so well - the doctor was very impressed with her social and fine motor skills (being very talkative and comfortable with other people, as well as her ability to pick up tiny things with her tiny fingers). She weighed in at 19 pounds 5 ounces - which is at the 60th percentile and she is 28 inches which is the 75th percentile. She was as healthy as could be and we got the go-ahead on finger foods. She only had one shot and the little trooper only cried for about 15 seconds. I love kissing her and hugging the pain away, its so wonderful to comfort her.

I can't wait to see what the next 3 months brings! Sophia is lunging, rolling, scooting, stretching and tumbling - I think crawling is just a few short weeks away. We better get going on safety-proofing!
