Pancakes!

On Friday, Sophia had her first pancake! We've been doing those little Gerber puffs and Cheerios for finger foods, and now she has had pancakes! We went out to breakfast on Friday morning and Jason had some pretty yummy and fluffy pancakes. We gave Sophia a small piece of them and she was "ok" with them. I think she wasn't used to things not dissolving right away. We didn't give her syrup yet, but I'm sure when we do, she'll scarf them down like her Daddy :)

A fun side note - today, Sophia discovered my eyelashes. She was fascinated with them this morning. She would take out her pointer finger and stretch and stretch to reach my eyes, then lightly touch the tips of the eyelashes. She was fascinated by them. We had to wrap it up when she became more comfortable with lunging at my eyes and poked me pretty good. But it was adorable nonetheless.
